Why Italy is the perfect place to say "I Do"

If you've never been to Italy, prepare to fall in love — twice. With your partner, and with this country. Every corner of Italy tells a story that goes back 2,000 years, and your wedding becomes part of it.

🏛️

History you can feel

Say your vows beside ancient Roman ruins, inside a 16th-century villa, or under the shadow of a medieval castle. Italy's venues aren't just beautiful — they're alive with centuries of stories.

🍷

Food & Wine

Italian cuisine is a celebration in itself. From Barolo wines in Piedmont to Sicilian cannoli and fresh pasta in Bologna — your guests will never forget the food.

🌊

Landscapes like nowhere else

Turquoise coastlines, cypress-lined roads, volcanic islands, alpine lakes — Italy fits every dream: romantic, dramatic, rustic, or glamorous.

☀️

The Italian lifestyle

Slow mornings with espresso, long lunches, golden-hour drinks on the terrace — the Italian way of life will infuse every moment of your celebration and honeymoon.

Every region, every dream

From north to south — wherever in Italy you feel called, Elena knows the best venues, vendors, and secrets of that region.

Tuscany

Rolling Hills & Vineyards

Cypress avenues, Renaissance villas, and world-famous Chianti wine. Tuscany is the quintessential Italian wedding backdrop — timeless and romantic.

Florence · Siena · Val d'Orcia

Cliffs, Color & the Sea

Dramatic cliffs plunging into turquoise water, lemon groves, and pastel villages. Positano, Ravello, and Amalfi are some of the world's most iconic settings.

Exchange rings with the Colosseum in the distance. Rome offers ancient glory, baroque palaces, and the Sistine Chapel — for couples who dream big.

Trastevere · Vatican · Borghese
Venice

City on the Water

Arrive by gondola, say your vows in a palazzo, celebrate to the sound of water. Venice is unlike any city on earth — a floating fairy tale.

Grand Canal · Murano · Burano
Verona

City of Romeo & Juliet

The most romantic city in Italy — ancient Roman arena, medieval palaces, and Juliet's legendary balcony. Verona offers an intimate, storybook setting that Americans adore.

The heel of Italy's boot — whitewashed trulli houses, ancient olive groves, and long white beaches. Unspoiled, authentic, and increasingly in demand.

Since

A life dedicated to Italy

"I don't just organize weddings. I translate Italy for you — its beauty, its complexity, its soul."

Since 2012, I have been working in Italy — building relationships with venues, vendors, and communities across every region of this extraordinary country. What began as a passion became a vocation: helping couples from the United States create weddings and celebrations that feel genuinely Italian, not touristic.

Living in Italy means I understand the culture, speak the language, and know which vendors truly deliver on the day that matters. I handle every bureaucratic hurdle, every language barrier, every logistical puzzle — so that you arrive in Italy and simply enjoy being in love.

Whether your dream is a hilltop ceremony in Tuscany, a canal-side celebration in Venice, or an intimate dinner on the Amalfi cliffs — I know the right people and the right places to make it real.

Before you ask

Is a wedding in Italy legally valid in the United States?
Yes — Italian civil marriages are legally recognized in the US. I assist with all required documents: your birth certificates, apostille stamps, and translations. Symbolic ceremonies are also a popular option for couples who prefer a simpler process.
How far in advance should we start planning?
12–18 months is ideal for peak season (May–October). For smaller celebrations or off-season weddings, 6–9 months can work. The sooner we start, the more options you have for venues and dates.
Do our guests need to speak Italian?
Not at all. I work exclusively in English with all American clients and act as the bridge between you and Italian vendors, officials, and venues. Your guests can arrive knowing nothing about Italy — and leave loving it.
What is the best season for a wedding in Italy?
May, June, September, and October are ideal — warm, not scorching, with beautiful light. July and August are hot (especially in the south) but spectacular on the coast. Spring offers blooming landscapes; autumn brings harvest colors in Tuscany.
Can you plan events beyond weddings?
Absolutely. I also organize honeymoons, anniversary celebrations, corporate incentive trips, milestone birthdays, and family reunions in Italy. If you want to experience Italy as a group — I can make it happen.
